Layher recently invested more than $150,000 to evaluate the true quality of the scaffolding products currently on the market. The findings included defects in weld connection, lack of penetration and insufficient galvanizing on welds, large shrink holes in the wedge and reduced load bearing capacity. Read full story

Layher scaffolding stages Eurovision's 2009 Song Contest in Moscow, Russia
Layher's world-renowned line of integrated scaffolding systems joined with Prolyte equipment created the largest and most sophisticated set production to date for this year's Eurovision's Song Contest. Layher debuts modernistic hot-dip galvanizing facility in Germany
Layher International opens the doors to their state-of-the-art hot-dip galvanizing facility in Eibensbach, Germany-a clear declaration of its commitment to Germany as the official production location. The modern facility is home to the precision hot-dip galvanizing system where an estimated 80,000 tons of steel products will be processed in this multi-stage immersion method. Read full story

Layher custom design engineered Double Slalom Ski Ramp is candidate for Guinness Book of Records.
The ski ramp is part of the promotion for the 2014 Winter Olympics that will be held in Sochi, Russia. Constructed on the plaza in front of the Moscow State University, the structure is 37 meters wide, 150 meters in length and 56 meters high. It will be used in the next months as the focal point for freestyle and snowboard competitions to be held in the heart of this great city. Read full story
